How to view computer files on ps3

If you wish to view what is stored on PS3's hard drive, you can do so in a few simple steps by browsing through each section of the PlayStation 3's XrossMediaBar. Turn on the PS3 system. Scroll down to the "System Information" option and press the "X" button. On the System Information page, the amount of free space on your hard drive will be displayed next to the "Free Space" heading.

Press the "Circle" button twice to return to the main menu. Scroll over to the "Photo" section of the XMB. Scroll down to the "Photo Gallery" option and press the "X" button. Wait for the conversion process to finish.

Convert to. Press the "Browse" button in the "Step 1" box and select the file you want to convert. Select "JPG" from the dropdown menu in the "Step 2" box. I found Aldo's tools I found one called Aldo's file sync 1. I hope this is where I need to start. I would be very grateful.

I don't have access to Linux or any advanced programming knowledge so maybe I will be stuck doing this over an FTP but I sure hope not, last time I did it took 40 hours and I am working with fat PS3 with heating problems.
