I once owned a Slash Reissue and the amp sounded really great but never had a chance to play an original Silver Jubilee. The soundclips of the new Marshall Silver at NAMM sound ok for me and the sound is in the sam ballpark but litte lifeless.

Do the Slash ones had different transformers than the original Silver Jubilees? And do the Slash sound different or better? Jim said that the sl was built of parts they still had in stock, and that the limitation was because they only had a limited amount of parts left. If this is true than a sl should be identical to a If you doba search on the forums you will find that sime claim that there are differences in the eiring for certain ranges of serial numbers and some are supposed to sound better.
